Liturgy - The Core of Community

Our church liturgies are the core of our parish community. They offer the opportunity to come together to celebrate God's love for us and our love for Him. Liturgies do, however, take planning. This is the responsibility of the Liturgy Planning Committee.

The Liturgy Planning Committee is responsible for the following:
Studying the Scriptures and chosing a focus for the Liturgical seasons.
Planning special liturgies such as penance services and Holy Week.
Catechizing the community on scripture and on changes in liturgy.
Helping our community liturgies keep the focus of the Vatican II Liturgical Documents and the Roman Missal.

If Sunday Liturgy is the core of your worship and you would like to help it to be the core of the community's, please join us. We meet the first Monday of every month.
